I'm excited to see how much he uses the younger guys on the big club, he knows them all well and will be nice to see them get utilized more

I'm torn

I'm some what interested to see what Babs has planned for the leafs but I was actually hoping that the leafs would have tried to hire blashill . He seems more suited to what the leafs are trying to do.

If Holland doesn't get his head out of his ass it won't matter who the coach is.

Wings interested in Nash? Hmm why can't he be right handed....I would prefer Eberle to be honest but Nash was 3rd in scoring last year. Might do better in a quieter market. Nyquist ++ seems expensive depending who the prospects are. Unfortunately nyquist doesn't seem to be able to over come his size...I like the kid though but I'd would rather keep Tatar

I'm with you depends on the other two players involved. Nash is a good player, I can't imagine what he'd do on a line with a legit elite center like Datsyuk. Also agree that Eberle would be the better long term player but Edmonton needs defense and won't move him for unless they get a legit Dman. I wouldn't mind losing Nyquist seemed at times this last season he was trying to do to much instead of making the simple play like trying to stick handle how Tats does but got his pocket picked.

yeah something like Nyquist, Pulkinen and Oulette I would do. I think that Pulkinens numbers are inflated cause he can get away with being small in the NHL. Unfortunately his main asset (slapshot) isn't quite as easy to get off in the NHL. He would unfortunately be limited to a PP specialist imo. I think we could get good value for him. He and Nyquist just seem to lack the tenacity required to counter being small.

I wonder if Edm would be interested in a deal for Eberle if we threw in Howard. They lack a #1 goalie and Jhow is far better than anything they have had for a while. Maybe Nyquist, Oulette and Howard...obviously it would be tweaked here and there but just a core idea
